As a Falconer businessman for almost 40 years I was shocked when I found out that I-86 was as crooked as they get. Brought my truck in for an alignment after purchasing 4 brand new tires. Roger told me I needed 2 lower ball joints & 2 inner tie rods before he could alighn my truck. He wanted between $1300.00 & $1400.00 to do the work. Sounded a little high on the estimate so I would be getting a second opinion on so called needed repairs. Mind you my truck is a 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500HD with 22,700 miles. After making an appointment with a shop that specializes in " chassis" repairs, i was informed that there were no repairs needed & that whomever told me that was " a crook" After that i made an appointment with Dunn tire in Blasdell & they got me in the same day. They performed the alignment, charged me the same as I-86 garage & told me that whoever said I needed ball joints & tie rods were a lying crook. Pathetic that you can't trust this garage whom I have used before in the past for the exact same job. Shame on you .
We have never had a Roger Whitford work for us. We had a Roger but that was a very long time ago. Might you have us confused with another shop? I would like to check into this further otherwise. We always take photos and videos of tech concerns and send them to the customer. Can you call and provide our Service Mgr Tim with more details? Copies of the other shop notes, etc. Curious... Why would you go to Dunn Tire all the way up in Blasdell? Or not have the chassis shop do the alignment?
